About Our Mission
MISSION
Ghana Initiative is a Christian non-profit organization whose mission is to “Bring Spiritual Life and Physical Wellness to the people of Ghana, West Africa!”
VISION
The vision of the Ghana Initiative is to Share the Gospel with the unsaved throughout Ghana, with a focus on the regions of Ghana where most residents are non-Christians. We want to see souls saved, disciples supported, and churches planted for the Kingdom of God. Our ministries include Evangelistic Outreach, Medical Missions, Christian Education, Child Sponsorship and Spiritual Discipleship. Proposed Vision Statement: We exist to expand God’s Kingdom, transform lives, equip believers, and mobilize our members to fulfill the Great Commission in Ghana and wherever the Lord may lead. We want to see passionate followers of Christ develop and grow in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and see every follower of Jesus growing increasingly like him and helping others to do the same.
Ghana Initiative has several objectives.
Our objectives include:
1. Ghana Initiative seeks to spread the Word of God to the unsaved. We accomplish this through Bible
training and evangelistic activities. Our missionary volunteers, impact lives both physically and
spiritually by examining and treating immediate medical needs and by sharing the Word of God as they
go house to house in communities across Ghana.
2. We provide FREE medical, dental, and optical care to the people of Ghana through the efforts of
volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, and opticians from the USA. We do not limit our services to one
group of people but invite anyone with a need to partake in the services we render.
3. We offer training opportunities for Ghanaians wishing to become missionaries or pastors. We are
seeking to train Ghanaian citizens who have a heart for developing congregations, building churches and
growing the Kingdom of God!
4. A long term objective is to build a permanent base of operations, Outreach Center in Ghana where
missionaries/mission teams can reside while serving in Ghana, and where Ghana Initiative can offer
missionary and pastoral training on a year-round basis.
